THE KRON OWNER GUIDE

Look after
your film.

Clear gloss or satin. Everyday care matters.

These essentials follow the care requirements in the KRON Limited PPF Warranty. Your installer should provide the instructions specific to your installation.

EXPLORE THE ESSENTIALS ↓
01 / AFTER INSTALLATION

Start with your installer.

Before the first wash or any additional treatment, ask your installer when the vehicle is ready and which products are suitable for your film.

Keep your Warranty ID and personal certificate link with the installation details.

02 / WASHING

Keep it film-compatible.

Avoid abrasive materials, harsh chemicals, solvents, acids, alkalis and other unsuitable cleaning products.

If you are unsure about a cleaner or treatment, check with your installer before using it.

03 / CONTAMINATION

Do not leave it untreated.

Bird droppings, insects, tree sap, tar, mineral deposits and hard-water marks should not be left on the film for prolonged periods.

Ask your installer for an appropriate cleaning method rather than experimenting with aggressive chemicals or abrasives.

04 / PRESSURE WASHING

Check the method first.

Improper use of pressure-washing equipment can damage the film. Confirm a suitable washing method with your installer and tell the car wash that your vehicle has PPF.

Do not assume that a method intended for unprotected paint is suitable for every film installation.

05 / GLOSS & SATIN

Respect the finish.

Do not polish the film with unsuitable compounds or equipment. Have any proposed polish, coating or detailing treatment checked for compatibility with your KRON series.

For STEALTH, tell the detailer that the film has a satin finish.

06 / IF SOMETHING CHANGES

Contact your installer.

If you notice lifting, cracking, bubbles or an unexpected change in appearance, photograph the area and contact the studio that registered your installation.

Do not attempt a repair or remove the film yourself. Removal should be carried out professionally using an appropriate method.
